These roles involved more than seven years of Board-facing executive leadership, with responsibility for enterprise-wide assurance, risk visibility, governance and performance across complex, multi-jurisdictional operations.

Board & Executive Engagement

Gaurav reported to the Board Audit Committee and direct engagement with its Chair, providing independent insight, challenge and assurance on matters of governance, risk, controls and performance.

Extensive experience was gained working with Boards, Board Committees, senior executives and leadership teams across operations spanning more than 30 countries, addressing issues with financial, operational, commercial and reputational implications.

Experience & Track Record

The experience encompasses governance and accountability, enterprise risk, assurance and control effectiveness, business integrity, operational and project risk, commercial and financial risk, business resilience, and performance and value improvement.

• Directed 400+ risk-based assurance reviews across operations, projects, finance, compliance, IT & cybersecurity and Global Capability Centres.
• Led 150+ multi-jurisdictional Speak Up investigations, including complex contractual, financial and compliance matters.
• Drove approximately $100m+ in identified cost optimisation through assurance review-led interventions, with further significant financial impact identified.
• Advised Boards and executive leadership on principal risks, governance, controls, resilience and performance.
• Led reviews across major EPC projects, contracts, procurement, supply chain, logistics and project execution risk.
